Temperature from ambient to 100⁰ C +/- 0.5⁰ C controlled by a mercury thermostat. The bath is double walled, inside made of tinned copper and outside made of mild steel sheet duly painted with white enamel paint, 25-mm mineral wool insulation on side and bottom. The chromium plated top cover has 11 holes, 6 holes to accommodate nickel plated copper pots of 63 mm diameter 65 mm deep; one hole of 120 mm diameter 65 mm deep and 4 holes of 25 mm diameter 65 mm deep for glass tubes. The wax pot is with lids but without glass thermometer and glass tubes.
